Blount County Sheriff’s Office Safely Locates Three Missing Teens

Maryville, Tenn. (BFMG) – The Blount County Sheriff’s Office has safely located three missing juveniles who were reported missing Saturday morning. Sheriff James Lee Berrong said the teens, who left without permission on Friday night, were traveling together in a blue 2021 Ford F-250 truck with Tennessee license plate 674BNNL according to a Facebook post.

The missing juveniles are identified as:
– Ava Whitehead-Nitzband, 15
– Chase Rogan, 16
– Landon Brown, 15

Ava was last seen at her Maryville residence at 10:15 p.m. on Friday. Her family later received a text message at 10:38 p.m. reading, “They are shutting my phone off. I am scared for my life right now.” Authorities believe she may have been in danger and possibly traveling with two males toward Kentucky.

Officials said in a Facebook post the teens were located “unharmed” and thanked the public for calling in tips.
