CAYCE, S.C. (BFMG) — Authorities are searching for a missing 16-year-old girl with medical needs who reportedly left her home in Cayce last week according to Cayce Police Department. Her family believes the pair may have traveled to North Carolina or Jefferson, Georgia.
Alissa Cheyenne Davis was publicly reported missing on Monday. Police said the teenager left her home on April 17 of her own accord without her belongings and has not been seen in several days.
Davis is described as a white female with black hair and a nose piercing. She stands approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 195 lbs. Police said Davis requires multiple medications, including an EpiPen for allergies, none of which she took with her.
Investigators believe Davis may be with 22-year-old Demetrius Gaudlock. Authorities did not disclose how Davis or Gaudlock may be connected to the Jefferson area.
Due to her medical conditions and age, Davis is considered a runaway.
Update to this story:
The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department located Alissa safely on Wednesday around 7:30PM. Information from a member of the community led authorities to her location where she was located with the male subject she was believed to have left with.
