PHILADELPHIA — A 46-year-old Delta Air Lines flight attendant who had been missing for weeks has been found safe, according to her family.
Aiesha Griffin, who was previously reported missing after vanishing on July 26, 2026, has been located and is “alive, safe, and well,” her father confirmed following national media coverage of her case.
Griffin’s disappearance drew widespread attention after she was last seen in the area of North Broad Street and Girard Avenue in Philadelphia. Family members said she had left her father’s home in the afternoon of July 26 and had not been heard from, prompting concern due to her need for prescription medication.
Her case gained renewed visibility after being featured on NewsNation’s “Missing with Marni Hughes.” Shortly after the broadcast, Griffin’s father told our outlet she has been found safe.
Family members and community advocates have launched an online campaign urging community members to share Griffin’s photo and report any possible sightings, using the hashtag #AieshaGriffin across platforms to increase visibility. A flyer that was circulating on social media describes her hair as small braided locs worn in a bun and says she was last seen wearing distinctive tortoise-shell glasses.
Griffin’s loved ones say she has no known history of mental illness and emphasize that her disappearance is out of character, heightening concern for her safety. You can help by checking security cameras, transit stops and high-traffic corridors along Broad Street and Girard Avenue.
Many of her colleagues at Delta Air Lines describe her as a Detroit based flight attendant who lives in the Philadelphia area. Her father Nate Griffin provided a statement on Friday evening that says:
"She is alive, safe, and well. We do ask that out of respect of her privacy, that no one try to reach out to her. We also ask that everyone refrain from flooding her social media pages with comments and remarks."
