Blacksburg, SC (BFMG) — The family of 17-year-old Jackson Tyler Williams is pleading for answers as the search intensifies for the missing teen, last seen in the afternoon hours of May 24th in Blacksburg, South Carolina.

Jackson was reportedly seen getting into a white sedan along W. Lime Street, believed to be driven by another juvenile. According to his mother, he entered the vehicle willingly, likely with someone he knows—but she’s adamant: she doesn’t believe he ran away. She tells us that Jackson’s cell phone was located abandoned where he is believed to have entered that vehicle.

“He’s a good kid,” she told our outlet. “Impressionable, yes—but not the type to vanish without a trace.”

Jackson requires daily medication, and without it, his health could be in serious jeopardy. His disappearance has prompted increasing concern, especially after his mother received a series of disturbing threats and extortion attempts via phone. Investigators currently believe the calls are fraudulent and related to information his mother has posted publicly online in the search for her son.

Despite these setbacks, his family has remained tireless in their efforts to locate him. His mother and siblings have organized their own searches, distributing flyers, combing neighborhoods, and chasing down every possible lead.

Jackson is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 122 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He is biracial and usually wears his curly hair up in a bun. He was last seen wearing a white blazer, black joggers, and multi-colored Nike tennis shoes—red, white, blue, and yellow.

The Blacksburg Police Department is actively investigating the case. Anyone with credible information about Jackson’s disappearance is urged to contact police immediately or submit tips through www.crimedesk.tips or by calling +1-864-800-8563.

His family is holding onto hope, asking the public to share his photo, story, and description widely, and to help bring Jackson home unharmed.
