Missing Spartanburg Woman Found Safe, Police Say

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (BFMG) — A woman who left a Spartanburg hospital early Wednesday morning without being medically discharged has been found safe, according to police.

Authorities said 56-year-old Tammy E. Crowley was last seen leaving the Spartanburg Emergency Room at 1:25 a.m. on Aug. 7. She was without her prescribed heart and blood pressure medications, did not have her cellphone, and was unfamiliar with the Spartanburg area.

The Spartanburg Police Department announced later Wednesday that Crowley had been located and is safe.

No further details about where she was found were immediately released
