JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (BFMG) — Five additional lawsuits have been filed against people accused of spreading defamatory statements online about Warren Hudson, Jax Pitalo and Morgan Seymour, according to a statement announcing the legal action.
The statement says the lawsuits were filed in Jackson County Court in Mississippi on behalf of the three men, whom it describes as “completely innocent.”
It identifies the new defendants as:
- Jennifer M. Sushka, also known as “Jay Megan”
- Damarcus Hughes, also known as “Boogie Lowdown”
- Sandra L. Butler, also known as “Royalty”
- Tumika Lasha Birch, also known as “Tumika Lasha”
- Isaiah Kelvin Harris, also known as “theisaiahharris”
The announcement accuses the defendants of spreading libelous and slanderous material online and signals plans to pursue additional TikTok users, YouTubers and other content creators.
“They’ve done a lot of damage,” the statement says.
The announcement also thanks Mississippi attorney J. Tyler Cox for his work on the litigation.
The statement does not identify the specific posts at issue, describe each defendant’s alleged conduct or specify the damages or other relief being sought. Its reference to “additional” lawsuits indicates earlier legal action, but details of those cases were not provided.
Copies of the complaints and responses from the defendants were not included in the material provided. The accusations are allegations, and the announcement does not establish that a court has found any defendant liable for defamation.
