UPDATE: TENNESSEE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION — We are happy to pass along that Elton Bailey has been located in Knoxville and is safe!

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (BFMG) — Authorities have issued a statewide AMBER Alert for 2-year-old Elton Bailey, who went missing earlier today in Knoxville., TN.

Elton was reportedly inside a 2002 gold Ford Explorer, Tennessee license plate 859BBGN, which was stolen from a residence on Old State Road.

The child was last seen wearing a gray shirt and gray pants. Elton is described as 3 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The Knoxville Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) are urging the public to stay vigilant. Anyone who sees Elton or the gold Ford Explorer is asked to call 911 immediately.
